About Me
Here are some fun facts about me:
I am 24 years old. That makes the year of 2020 my quarter of a century mark!
I love to travel and explore, but Greenville, SC, is always the home base I return to.
I come from a big family that’s very loving and supportive, and I love that it seems to continue to grow every year.
I have a Liberal Arts Degree in Christian Ministry with a minor in Business from Anderson University (the one in South Carolina). This is where my knowledge of scripture and theology comes from.
My favorite color is yellow because of how bright and joyful it can be.
I’m very passionate about the Kingdom of God and using my life to further the Kingdom. My experience on the 11 month, 11 country mission trip called the World Race forever changed my heart for people, the Church, and the Kingdom. For more details about this trip, you can check out my other blog at www.abbymaston.theworldrace.org.
My second love after Jesus is coffee, which is why I want to open a coffee shop one day that I can do ministry and mission through. As I’ve traveled the world I’ve experienced coffee as an avenue to connect people from all sorts of different backgrounds, languages, and cultures. I’ve connected with countless strangers that I have nothing in common with over a cup of coffee. I want to use that gift as a way to bring people to Jesus. I’m currently working on this dream by working at a Dunkin’ coffee shop during CGA.
I’m excited to start CGA because I am always thirsting for more of God, I want to be challenged and refined on the things God taught me about myself and who He is on the World Race, and I believe CGA will give me great tools to be a bold missionary for the rest of my life.
I look forward to sharing more of who I am and what God is doing in my life with you in this season and through this blog. Please let me know in the comments anything you’re dying to know or want to hear more about. Thank you for your love, support, and community!
